Stephen Krashen is a leading scholar in second-language acquisition. His research shows that people acquire languages mainly through sustained exposure to clear, meaningful input—not rules and explanations alone. This view has shaped modern teaching worldwide, and the video explains why learning a language through the language itself is research-based, not a trend.

The Secret to Language Acquisition: "We acquire language in only one way." Stephen Krashen, a world-renowned authority on language acquisition theory, states that the way we acquire language is identical for everyone worldwide, regardless of individual differences.
It is solely through 'Comprehensible Input.'

Your Korean Teacher Jisoo
Hi! I’m Jisoo, a Korean teacher born in Busan. Nice to meet you 😊
I’ve loved languages since I was very young.
Hearing a different language always made me curious, and looking back, nothing stayed with me as naturally as language learning.
I became a Korean teacher almost by chance, but while studying and teaching, I realized something important:
when Korean is taught through another language, students often rely on translation and hesitate to speak.
When I started teaching only in Korean, things changed.
Even though it felt confusing at first, students began to communicate more naturally.
Korean stopped being “study” and became an experience.
I’ve taught over 300 students with this approach, and the results were clear—it works!
That’s why I created K Lesson, a course built on learning Korean in Korean, with clear structure and care.
I built this course with my whole heart.
I can’t wait to meet you in class 😊
“Teaching Korean is my greatest passion. My dream is to help as many people as possible understand and speak my native language.”
